That's truly awesome of Kershaw to send an early-production just-released knife to make good on a warranty. Points to their well-known fantastic level of customer service.
Can't wait 'till my Cryo arrives.

I think I'll hold off on the II since I just snagged an 0551 at a great price - between the 0551 and std Cryo, the II would sit unused. Which would be a shame.

Let's say...one wanted to make it a manual flipper. Is there a detent hole in the blade already? Or would that need to be drilled in like other Speedsafe knives?

I didn't Pre order but found 1 in stock yesterday. Should be here tomorrow or Monday. I saw it said add to cart, so I called and the girl assured me it was in hand for shipping. It is a reputable online shop, so hopefully it is true.

There should be a pretty good number of these hitting the streets soon. We had a quite a few Cryo's go through inspection here about a week ago. Keep your eyes open!
