    We are getting a lot of questions about our handle design.
    Here is a handle cut in half with comments (click on the image pls):

    1 - Hardened blade 58 Rc
    2 - Softer part of the tang.
    3 - The threaded part of the tang.
    4 - Security nut.
    5 - End cap of the handle (Brown Micarta or Aluminum)
    6 - Handle (wood, leather or birch bark)
    7 - Guard (Brown Micarta or Aluminum)

    Dumb question, but how do you drill & fit the security nut inside micarta endcap?

    As you can see on some of our knives handle is made of 4 pcs - biggest part - wood or leather or birch bark, then 2 smaller inserts (for example between wood and micarta we put a few layers of birch bark) and two last pcs. - aluminum or micarta... So in that case insert is made of micarta also and together looks like one module.
