Well, I might not be totally back up to speed and I'm not assuming that today is going to be the norm, but thanks to a terrific amount of pain killers I was able to get a lot of work done today. It was a big deal for me to get to finish up all these knives today. I have been so frustrated with them so close to being shipped and they're just looking me in the face and I couldn't do anything about it. It was really driving me nuts. Sharpening a few knives seems like such a simple task, but since I couldn't stand up for more than about ten seconds at a time and couldn't sit in a chair, it was just impossible. Today, it was just like before the pain ever started and I was sharpening away in a chair and moving around the shop like a dacner. I was still taking it easy, knowing that while i didn't feel the pain, stuff could still be going on that would hurt later. Anyways, I got a bunch of stuff done today, knives are ready to ship out, and at least for today I finally got some relief. It was a good day.

I've been having a really good day today too. I'm hoping I'm on the road to normal without any surgery. One of the things my new orthopedic doctor prescribed to me is a pack of prednisone. I will admit, that I wasn't thrilled about taking it after doing some research on how common the side effects were and talking to people who have taken it, but it really seems to be doing a good job, so I'm happy. Anyways, just wanted to let everyone know that I'm doing really well and I very much appreciate everyone's support. Thanks guys!

Good to hear you're back in the shop and (hopefully) on the road to recovery.

We were getting worried about you in fact I had already played rock paper scissors with andy to see who would get your k&g grinder (me by the way). It is great to have you back in the shop at full speed.

It was andy by the way dylan was dancing with andy because he has that petite feminine look that dylan likes
I have had problems in past post so if any of the spelling or grammar in the above post is wrong, I am not stupid or uneducated I am severely dyslexic. I do not intend this as an excuse but only to let every one know that I am not offended if I need to clarify something.
    Thank you

If you don't know the name of the grinder, you're not yet ready young Skywalker. It's KMG, initials for Knife Making Grinder by Beaumont Metal Works.
