I swear sometimes it's like a handicap... the other day I went to the range with my team and I jumped on the SAW. Subconsciously holding left hand on pistol grip, right hand support grip. Fire off a burst. Hot brass slapping my right arm... so annoying. Such a right handed world we live in. Oh well. Adapt and overcome.

Offically made my Mnandi a user. I bought it to use on a daily basis and not baby to see how it holds up. When I got it the factory grind was off on one side making touch-ups on my Sharpmaker not possible. I marked it with black sharpie and found that it was steeper than 20 degrees per side. So, out came the Edge Pro for a reprofile down to 18 degrees per side. I did not put a mirror edge on it since I plan to use it. Took the reprofile to 600 grit only. From there I went through the sharpmaker stones at 20 degrees per side all the way to ultra fine. It is now so sharp that when I go to try and shave hair off my arm it digs right into the skin! Here's a couple of pictures. Kind of hard to get a good pic of the edge plus there is still sharpie remaining where I marked it for the final micro bevel check.
