Thank you very much!
Yes it IS super-useful, handles everything I encounter really well and is still small enough to be comfortable.
With the FFG it's a great slicer!
The original scales are nice, they're just REALLY fat, way to fat for EDC carry. So I made these.
That was my first attempt at making scales from scratch, and it's a good thing the picture is so blurry, so the toolmarks and sloppy fitting don't show.
Thanks for the kind words,
Murphys Law.

Wow you guys have some nice EDC setups, here is my current setup. Don't laugh one is a Bear Grylls Folder, the other a Kershaw Crown, and a PT 9 Bulb LED Tailcap. Works for me so far just got the Kershaw, owned the BG Folder since August 2011. Before that I carried a Gerber Profile, which I passed on to my son. Going to Bass Bro this Weekend to get a Spyderco, or new Gerber. I am a personal fan of Gerber lol

In fact I do remember, and it looks a lot better in person than in the photo! It is named "Dark Stripes", and I got mine from knifeworks.
Btw, after I tie the hangmans/Reeves knot and get the distance where I want it to be, I will coat the knot with superglue. When it dries I hit it with some worn out 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper, and then polish it with some mothers mag polish to bring out the shine.![]()

Welcome to the forums, viper! I've been meaning to pick up a crown for some time; I love the traditional styling and it looks like a great value. I'm please to hear that you might purchase a new Spyderco, and I definitely recommend it. Once you get one in hand, you realize how comfortable and innovative a lot of their designs can be. Be sure to check out the Delica, Endura, and Tenacious if they've got them. And if you're feeling spendy, you'll never regret picking up a Para-Military 2. Good luck on your purchase, whatever you choose. Don't forget to post back here with a photo!
This again. No surprises here.
Mika,You take the cleanest photos I've ever seen.![]()
