Thank you all for supporting this project.
This has been a very exciting project but very challenging, using CPM REX- 121 steel presented unique challenges which one has to overcome, grinding issues, heat-treating issues, sharpening and a whole bunch of things.
In my quest to make the most high performance blade I have ever made I believe I have achieved that through this project, I have made more friends and it has been a humbling experience for me.
    Thank you
    Farid

Got my mule today - thanks again Farid for this exciting project.

Here is my just received mule "as is", compared to my Spyderco mules. In the middle is a Cruwear mule (with the ergonomic changes I make to suit me better, and balance better in the hand), and on the bottom is my just received Elmax mule. Amazingly enough, Farid's dimension's on this mule approximate the same size I selected as being more ergonomic as well:

Overall the Rex121 mule has a slightly shorter edge than the Spyderco mules:

Here are the two sides, one slightly more course than the other - great utilitarian finish:

And a macro photo of the blade markings:

I have not decided yet what material I will use for the grip/scales yet - fun project coming up

Farid - Are you still making the CPM-REX 121?

I only recently learned of these knives but would love to have the pricing details on one if at all possible.

Well folks here is my Mule just picked it up a few minutes ago ,first picture is in my truck at the post office,I just could'nt wait the next is the first use opening my other mail!
I was getting anxious waiting for the knife to arrive,it seems customs probably wanted to test cpm rex 121 while they had the opportunity!
Now I need to figure out a handle...kelly
