UPDATE: I have yet to receive my free Busse Knife.
But I'm still keeping the faith that some generous hog will pull through.
...So, with no points, coupons, rewards, credit(s), warranty claim, reason, nor story, you just walked in and asked for a free washer...and they gave you one?I gotta get to Sears!!!
Well...you're halfway there. Lemme know when they hook you up with the free matching dryer to go with it!![]()

I would be so stoked by that. I am one who loved my SS, and used the heck out of it. I don't own it anymore because I wanted to try a few other designs from the Boss. I miss it! That sucker shaved wood like a beaver!
To the OP.
I have a cousin deployed right now who was donated a knife and sheath by the hogs here. One
I see what you did there, and yes, it was a sweet piece of Rat steel too! Probably my most lusted after Busse family blade right now!
Purple Juice.........several rappers have expired, likely hastened by the over consumption of the Purple Syrup! But, to be consumed "properly" you need a be-jeweled chalice or "Pimp Cup".
The more people that goof on this kid, makes me want to give him one. Sorry though i'll have to save up first.

All that I hear on the radio these days is Buy Gold. Buy Gold. Put some of your money into Gold. The U.S. Dollar is about to become worthless paper soon because we are 16 Trillion Dollars in debt. I can't really afford to DO that right now so if anybody has any One Ounce Gold American Eagles or Canadian Maple Leafs that they don't need. I'll take as few as one coin or as many as you don't need.
INFI is almost as safe and investment as gold. I'll take either one if someone is done using theirs. Also happy to relieve anyone of their old, outdated, unfashionable, or unwanted SR77, SR101, diamonds, silver, platinum or jewelsAll that is sooooooo yesterday! You don't want to be seen sporting any of that. I'll save you the public humiliation....
Here is a Busse no one wants!

Oh wait, thats a Busey sorry.
Looking for Busse snakeskin micarta - RMJ hawks - Winkler 2 axes- Tracker Dans Greymatter -
Terry, I'm sorry...I just gave my last 3 away.
Second or third that one GregS. As for the OP I think his approach was quite clever and I will envy him for his score when the Hog in someone finally gives in to the humor. That person will not be me. If you had a sob story, be it fact or fiction, to tell, you would probably have scored at least one by now. I have no doubt that a brother or sister in need would be taken care of immediately by a Hog that was Fortunate to have means to contribute.

I have watched this thread with interest, and although I too can appreciate someone who gives of their heart and their hard earned money, I think to call "please give me your Busse" a "social experiment" is low at best.
I am 43 years old, and have worked my azz to the bone all my life. I make a decent paycheck, but by the time I take care of my house, family, and other bills I don't have a whole lot of funds left. I have been a Becker fan all my life, and 6 months ago when I decided to step up to the world of Busse and kin, I did not depend on the kindness of strangers. I worked my tail to the bone, took as much overtime as possible, and sold off 3/4 of my becker collection only retaining a few with sentimental value. I am the proud owner now of a couple sykco 711's, a scrapivore, a swamprat rmd muddy, and the crown piece of my collection is a brand new Busse TGLB! I sold and traded to get these and I love my knives, but much of the pride in my ownership comes from knowing I scrimped and saved and traded to make this happen. Earning the things you want in life is much sweeter then having someone hand something off to you without earning it.
No offense to the originator of this thread, just putting in my two cents....Aspiring Hog out...
Interesting thread and approach ;-) I'm too cash strapped right now to even consider it BTW
I wouldn't be surprised if you eventually end up with one though..
I ended up giving away a brand spankin new CG boss jack to a close friend- I had just recently discovered the joy that is a Busse knife and had more blades than I needed at the time. He didn't have to tell a sob str anything, I just knew he'd seriously need it when I saw the POS fixed blade knife he was about to rely on while venturing into the wilderness for a few months.. I have to admit, though, I don't know if I would have been as eager to give it to him if he'd only asked for the sake of asking- ymmv
Between all the seasoned Hogs and piglets packing on pounds here, one thing I know is that there's a lot of love in this awesome little community![]()
My biscuit would love for you to join the Fans of Becker Knives Group and the Fans of Ka-Bar Knives Group.
