I am growing tired of finding nothing but dual action OTF's w/ double edge blades that are great for my conceal carry use that have a company name on it.:jerk it:

Does anyone know of any OTF dual action double edge blade conceal carries (preferably all black) that have no name on them? At this point I don't care what it cost. I'm so tired of all the black OTF's I would consider buying having a name on either blade or the grip.
I'm almost tempted to buy a couple of chinese crap OTF's since none of those have any names on them.

    Thanks in advance

In other words, you're looking for a Sterile DA OTF w/Black DE blade...

My Microtech Ultratech Tanto Edge has just a serial number and the Microtech symbol on the body. Yes, the clip does have the name on it, but thats easy to remove. GZB is correct though, ideally you would be looking for sterile Double Action OTF. This is going to be hard to find, because they're not often made in mass quantities. While not impossible, you may have a hard time finding one, let alone for a reasonable price. But they're out there.

I guess I've become so frustrated that I'm to the point I may just pull the trigger on this Piranha http://www.bladehq.com/item--Piranha...ibur-OTF--1084

It's the least intrusive, name brand wise, I can find sadly. Guess I'll put up with it's ridiculous engraved drawing.

I've been on these forums as a guest for 2 months now and searched google high and low. All the sterile OTF's I find that fit every category I want are china made and everyone advises me to stay away from them. Especially since I'll be using it for CC use as well as the occasional box opener.

It's either the piranha or I really splurge and attempt to get a custom made OTF and specifically ask the builder to NOT engrave a damn thing on the knife. I really haven't found one OTF that fits all the categories in my OP that doesn't have an engraving

015.jpg014.jpg MT does not have their name etched into their blades, just the model, and the steel...Honestly, what's the difference, and why would you possibly object to it?

Fin, thanks for the pics. 3 reasons I don't want an emblem, a name, or any carvings, etc...
    1) Exclusivity (sp?) It will make me stand out from everyone else who has, buck, microtech, etc...
    2) Less place for dust/pocket lint, to reside aka less maintenance in my opinion
    3) Preference. I actually think it appears smoother, cleaner, cooler IMO. I'll actually buy the no name brand t-shirts at walmart as opposed to a polo t-shirt just because there is no "horse" on the front. Cheaper crappier made but I just like the look more

I don't mind the brand appearing on the blade, however I do object to the garish adornments that accompany some, like the "Gerber Covert" including the silly signature thingy, thats over the top...

You can get a plain Jeff Harkins Triton for a couple grand. A Ralph Dewey Harris might not cost quite that much.

Or, buy the production knife of your choice and have the blade refinished by a beadblaster. Laser etchings are pretty shallow and shouldn't take much to remove (just make sure they don't blast the parts that interact with the mechanism). It wouldn't be black, but the beadblasting would definitely give it that "sterile" look. Have the same done to the clip. You could have them recoated too, but it might be hard to find a place that'll only do a couple pieces (usually they do things in large batches).

Looking for a GEC Bull Nose sodbuster in Nifebrite acrylic. If you have one to sell or know where I can find one, let me know.

^Good idea Aaron.... I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on the excalibur and get the idiotic kid drawing on the handle filled in.

It just occcured to me...I don't recall the DKW Sandshark having any markings on the blade. But it's been years since I had mine, I might not be remembering correctly. Also mine was only the 11th ever made, so they might have started marking them in later production. . They hard to find, and won't be cheap, but it'll be a lot cheaper than a custom.

I just posted a black DE Makora II for sale here with no company name on the blade or body. It does have a name on the clip but that can be easily taken care of if you're interested. Made in the USA.

I ended up pulling the trigger on a $260 mini-infidel. Thank you so much for the link/offer though.

I completely understand. I just purchased a mini-infidel and I hate the butterfly a/ the name tattooed on both sides of the blade

I love mine, and want another!!! The only "logo" is a shark on the handle, but in black, you can't even see it. I wish I had bought more 8 years ago when they were $495
