After watching Nutnfancy's booth review with you, I have since bought 4 Emersons.

I live in the UK and so we do not tend to have the same views but what I bought into was the passion for the product, the integrity and humility shown in the interview.

The explanation of why 154cm is used and the sharpening protocol and ease of servicing all made sense to me.

    Take care, Ben

I'm a liberal, so I imagine I disagree with the specifics of Mr. Emerson's views. But, before being a liberal, I'm an American and a patriot. Because of this I would fight (and have fought) for the right for us to freely have differing views. It is what makes our country great. We may disagree in details, but we agree we want to make the USA the greatest country it can be.

Frankly, I feel better buying your knives and supporting you, your family, and your company because of your willingness to take a stance for what you believe in.

First I became a fan very fast started with my Super Karambit, fits my hand like a glove by the way, and never looked back. I think it is just silly to assume steel, titanium, and g-10 have the same political views of there designer. I remember reading about Tim Leatherman being fairly Left leaning and caused some uproar. Many boycotted him and his fine products as well as sending him some vitriolic emails. I own products from both Emerson and leatherman one things for sure they are both patriots supplying our local and oversea heroes with top-of-the-line gear and warranties. And that's pretty much all we should care about.

I'm also a liberal and don't agree with many of Emerson's beliefs, but I still believe he's a great guy and would be an awesome drinking buddy.

He's a good person and he makes great knives, so what's not to like? I just got my first Emerson a few weeks ago and I'm loving it. I'm already eyeing a Gentleman Jim for my next purchase.
