Spyderco had a no video policy this year. The only exception seems to be a video with Michael Janich http://www.downrange.tv/blog/shot-sh...pyderco/13081/

    Sorry guys,

We had some problems with last year's videos. There wasn't time to make up or lay down new ground rules on videos,so we just kaboshed all of them. We'll reconsider and discuss the possibility for next year.

I just saw today on youtube some from coldsteel videos about a few of there new 2012 knives, and it was just a straight forward preview of some of the knives. Kinda looked like they were shot in a public library. But why dont you release videos of your products yourself like that? You wouldnt have to worry about rules because your showing what you want us to see. and all youd need is a little flip camera and a few minutes.

No problem, more to talk/post about now.

Now let's all get cracking buying everything Spyderco to make room for the new models.

Damn, I was looking forward to a video..I would even endure "nutnfancy" for 20mins to look at new spydies (the key is to mute ).

Edit: though I find him increasingly difficult to tolerate, Nutnfancy's Spyderco booth reviews are my Shot Show favorite.

Like Brother Slight said, maybe Mr. Sal or a Spydie rep could produce your own Shot Show video next time so you could control content or whatever the issue is. But what I would really like next time is about a 45 minute video of Nutnfancy and Mr. Sal.

Its a symbiotic thing thats going on here. You talk it up on youtube, and we buy it. Its the circle of life.

I agree - he's fun to listen to. When it comes to his Spyderco reviews he's most respectful. I really missed his Spydie review this year along with some others as well.

Man, I was looking forward to nutnfancy's spyderco review soooo bad, its the only shot show review I cared about. that really sucks. Hey Sal, I bet that video would have sold a ton more knives

Spyderco will have the Amsterdam Meet in March and Mr. Blonde (Wouter) will take photo's of new models there. He does a great job and I can't wait to see them.

I totally agree! I had been waiting and waiting and continually checking Nutnfancy's channel to see when the video would be posted. It was pretty much the one and only booth at SHOT that I really really wanted to see. I do understand that Spyderco has their reasons for this policy but I'm terribly disappointed
