I don't know if someone has already posted these or not -- The blade coating is not a shiny finish (which is nice), and the clip is black. Most websites showed it as silver. The oily spots near the back of the blade are from where I over oiled the knife. Anyways hope you enjoy the pictures.

IMO, black hardware is so much better than stainless on these black/black Spydies. Mine will arrive shortly.

Hows the quality of the coating? being a lower end spydie, I could see it not having a very durable black coating and it coming off really quick.

It's a much higher quality than the black coating that comes on the RAT Model 1, but not as nice as a black coating you'd find on a SOG knife. Middle range quality, for the price seems good. Hope this helps.

Thanks for posting the pics..though I'm a bit confused? I was thinking of ordering one from Knife Works. So I checked out there web site and the pic that they show for the PE has silver pocket clip and silver screws. To get a total blacked out model they show that with a combo edge. I've had and love the original PE so I thought I'd get a Black blade version but I really want the PE not the combo...Am I missing something here? Sal..........................

    Sorry, never mind,
I guess I didn't read the OP well enough......my bad

Here's mine. Very pleased that this knife is ALL black. I bought a spare a week later.

Looks about the size of Native, is that comparable in size?
