This is a continuation of the original thread decidedly too longwinded as determined by the OP here:

    http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/sh...-Authenticity)

.....with the beads of sweat falling off the cheeks, the weight of rusty, thick links connecting the anvil to the ankles with the label printed "Banhammer" emblazoned with silver, what once was a large gait has now become a tiny meager side-step. As the seagulls' sh-t is shaken off the face of the weary soul, he recognizes it wasn't the shouts of the pirates behind him which take turns waving their swords (some damascus and others S30V) pushing centimeter by centimenter not-so-gently penetrating the flesh of the back through the torn clothes. Nor was it the smell of gunpowder mixed with the spewing of sea spray wafting under the nose. It wasn't the thwank of the plank or the binding of hands but rather something entirely different. It was the ever so quick glances at a lifeboat being exposed in and out of the fog even for only a moment below. Then gone again and the dark waters suddenly look more darker than had previously. The thought of sinking into the cold blackness only to watch the last bit of bubbles rising up as fish swim by signifying one's last moments. And so the memories replay, the veil slightly lifted as the eye patch suddenly became transparent. What is revealed to the sea-farer is what was there all along in plain sight. What once was thought to be a Pirate ship with skulls and crossbones decorating every flag is now transformed into what it was evermore, a Naval ship. A naval ship with a code of ethics, honor, and integrity. Perhaps even understanding and forgiveness.

    Mr. Kalaitzidis,

I would like to offer you a sincere apology on behalf of myself for the part I played in resulting where this transaction went awry. I won't clutter up this thread with re-stating my mistakes but please know that I take responsibility for my part in the matter. I never had any intention, ever, when the listing was placed or afterwards to decieve, "swindle", "scam" or what-have-you by untintentionally listing or not listing something. Not to you personally or any other potential buyer. All this talk of honor on my part and yet I would postpone the initiation of displaying it until the next transaction? How then could it be true honor. It was true "pretzel logic". So with everything said, I would also like to set this right and do the right thing. Not for the sake of redemption from inofficial banishment on the Exchange nor for any chance to preserve a reputation. Reputation, shmaattion! The change of heart symbolically expressed in the intro above came from a true realization of being true to one's self. I couldn't be happy with my self if I didn't step up and do the right thing, regardless if I felt mistreated initially. I hope we both learned a little something for this in that we both had a hand in how it turned out (my argueably more than you). Nonetheless I already expressed my views about it in the previous post so my peace is said. Regardless, the more proper course of action honoring the Forum Policy Rules and in a sense, the blade community as a whole, would have been to offer a refund in the beginning when you first requested (ahweeem demanded' it. In all honesty, I can understand how you were just reacting possibly to what you believed was someone trying to "swindle" you. Maybe you have been swindled in the past as I have once.

By now you should be getting an e-mail saying funds are being deposited into your account (or something to that nature). Also some extra money was sent to cover the return shipping of the knife to me as well. I hope you accept my apology. I would like to apologize to those new or even longwithstanding members who viewed this thread and somehow as a result of it had any additional hint of doubt as to the security of buying and selling on Bladeforums. Is it the most safe and secure forum with the most trustworthy, honorable members? Not sure, but from my past good experiences, they have been nothing but positive. Best of Luck and I wish no ill' will.

    Regards,

Also wanted to express my apologies to the Bladeforum Community as a whole (at least those who viewed the original thread). Looking back it is good to see its members care enought about the community to take the time to respond and post replies in most instances if for no other reason than to help see a just course of action take place and that is what was wrong is eventually made right. Specifically, I am referring to those constructive vs. destructive posts. Also, thanks to the Mods for believing in the process and not issuing me an outright ban (to which would have confirmed my suspicion in a "zero-tolerance" policy). As a seller who knows he is far from a scammer yet still capable of making honest mistakes it was somehow reassuring to know there is that higher source in the forum, remaining objective and not wanting to take sides.

I also want to take the time to note those specific posts to which had the most influence on breaking through my "thickheadedness" so that I could make a wrong, a right. These posts are most noteably as follows and in no particular order of significance: Posts #17 31 39 45 49 63 66 67 87 98 110 113 114 115 126 142 148 164 174 and 176. I have to mention and give credit to one guy in particular...Mr. RWS. Perhaps it was his comments, which started off so accusatory and condemning like most others, only to progress into perhaps pity and/or "love". Most likely they were the final blow which cracked that pride filled stubborness desperately working to keep me from taking the necessary steps to do right. Despite the fact that he called me a joke, a character, a douche, a lowlife, a turkey, a boob, a knucklehead, and basically a flathead, I never had a guy tell me he "loved me" twice in any online forum. Maybe it was Curly peeking his head around the corner saying "........see you lurking, Whaasssup!"

shame on you, Sir. you lied about making the decision to do the right thing. i'm amazed you would try to deceive us all.

and shame on me for congratulating you for doing the right thing before i knew all the facts. i sincerely hope you go away and think about this entire event and decide to turn yourself around...somehow i doubt this will be happening though.

    SPYfanman,

I withdraw everything I wrote. You are an example of the worst of people. You are a true sociopath, bending reality until it fits into what you want believe. You are the type that others wish the worst upon, and you deserve it.

    RWS is an unusual fellow.

There are a LOT of unusual fellows on this Forum.

It's a good place to be. Welcome.

I'm editing my post due to the fact that the apparent sociopath SPYfanman truly is a bigger scumbag than we could have imagined.

I too commend you for admitting your wrong doing and taking the necessary steps to make amends. I apologize for taking a few jabs at you in the original thread. It is always refreshing to see course corrections in these deals gone awry threads.

Just so we can be clear on this SPYhanman had no hand in Me getting my Money Back, it was paypal that made that decision. He never called to have paypal refund my money, paypal made the decision today and SPYhanman is taking the credit. Read the original posts, HE IS PLAYING US ONCE AGAIN. Paypal made the decision to return my money, NOT SPYhanman, HE HAS LEARNED NOTHING, ONCE AGAIN HE'S PLAYING US. I HAVE CALLED PAYPAL TO CONFIRM THIS. HE IS DOING WHAT HE'S BEEN DOING FROM THE BEGINNING PLAYING US.

He's just BSing the situation as usual, he lost with paypal and has to give me a refund and pay for return shipping but he's twisting it now so he can save face. He's doing what he's been doing all along Lying and treating us like idiots. This guy is Bad News to our Community.

Regardless of whether SPY refunds you voluntarily or Paypal makes the call themselves he was in the previous thread, and continues to be here, too much talk and not enough simply setting right a deal that went south. It all starts to become just empty noise past a certain point and that threshold was blown by long ago for me. A paragraph of prose about walking the plank just tells me he likes to hear himself talk. There's a time and place for that among many of us but it is certainly not here and now. Rubs me the wrong way in this situation like I don't know what.

RWS, do you really think that this guy would do an about face like that? From the beginning he manipulated (with words) the listing, the original post (with BS words) and now the conclusion (with more BS words). I consider you a brother RWS and believe me would like to think that we've made a difference in a young mans outlook in life but believe me his guy never made the CALL, he has and always been fxcking with our heads because he can.

Spy, we all make mistakes and many of us will oftentimes stubbornly defend those mistakes no matter how glaring they may be. I know I'm guilty of it.

IMO, the thing that seperates "good" people from "bad" people is that good people will eventually recognize what they did wrong (it may even take help from others for that to happen), and then having a sincere desire to learn from it, and if possible, trying to correct it as best they can.

For me, and I really hope I'm not coming off as some condescending self-righteous pos here, but you've proven what it is to be human by making a mistake and then you took that huge step, a step that so many seem to fail to take, to try and make it right like you're doing here. This is what being a member of a community is all about.

    Spy, nice!

So he's pretending like he was the one who voluntarily set this right when in reality paypal did it for him and now to cover his dumb ass he's conning all of us into believing what a stand up guy he is. This douchebag has learned nothing and he is worse than a blatant scammer. At least a blatant scammer has more balls and doesnt hide behind a facade of innocence. Spyfanman you are a joke and your reputation has been permanently damaged beyond repair. You should of made this right BEFORE paypal did it for you. Thanks for the heads up dino.

Exactly, he never made the call, it was paypal that made the decision, they ruled against him. He has to return my money and is required to pay for return postage. All the rest is BULL SHIT. He has learned nothing, he's manipulating like he has from the original listing and I guarantee there will be more BS coming from this guy. Look I didn't know this guy from Adam but the way he is trying to manipulate the situation here with his BS is amazing and disturbing, He needs to be banned.
