OK, so on behalf of Morrow, I am working to drum up/figure out interest in a second passaround of the same group of knives from THIS THREAD.

I assume it will be the exact same rules as before, but I'll let Morrow chime in just to be sure (and I am assuming he will open the official thread pending enough interest). Open to the first 10 qualifying people. If you are interested, please post here until we have more concrete plans. Thanks in advance!

    PS-
    These are the knives:

    1. ZT 0551
    2. Kershaw Tilt (4001)
    3. Kershaw Volt II (3650)
    4. Kershaw Tremor (1950)
    5. Kershaw Talon II (1425)
    6. ???

    Current list:

    1. jhyde7585
    2. Spyderphreak (me)
    3. ZYA_LTR
    4. type00rev
    5. legato1
    6. severtecher
    7. Daniel Dorn
    8. tigertaylor1
    9. snowreaper1
    10. adamrockcrawler

    Alternate #1: Sigifrith
    Alternate #2: loonybin

Good job SpyderPhreak. The rules would be the same. The only thing I would add is not all these knives would be included in the passaround. Some have been donated for the purpose of passarounds and those would be included. In the picture above, the knives that were donated are the ZT 0551 (Thomas W), Kershaw Tilt (Thomas W), Kershaw Tremor (kershawguy), Kershaw Talon II (Thomas W) and the Volt II (Thomas W). The ZT 350, Blur and Random Task could be removed and/or replaced with something else. The ZT 350 and the Blur are headed to Maine to a fisherman who I promised to send these to a long while ago. If there are other knives people would be interested in, throw out some ideas and I'll see what I can do.

    I would be interested.

I have already participated in a pass around of the ZT 0551, Kershaw Talon II, and the Volt II and I have reviewed those knives.

I owned a Kershaw Tilt and Blur but have not reviewed them. I have neither owned nor reviewed the Kershaw Tremor, the ZT 350, and the Random Task.

If whatever combination you put together includes those in the second list, I would like to participate.

I wouldn't mind getting involved in a pass around, i just have a quick question...what is the average price you guys are paying for shipping? I have never shipped anything that required a $900 insurance add-on, and i don't have a clue what the FEDEX/UPS folks ding you for insurance on shipping these treasures.

USPS medium flat rate box with $900 insurance was $22.70.

Your reviews are excellent and add a lot to this site. No need for you to wait for a passaround. If they are not on the road, I'll gladly send you whatever knives you want for review.

Thank for the info Jason! I removed the knives you spoke of from the list. Personally, I would like to see 6 or 7 in the passaround, so we'll have to figure out another one or two to throw in if that is OK? What are the odds of getting a 0560 or a 0561 for this one???

So far, the way I see it, we have on the passaround list:

    1. Spyderphreak (me)
    2. lava_lamp
    3. jhyde7585
    4. ZYA_LTR

However, if I am not mistaken, Morrow's passaround rules require a paying membership of some sort, and a minimum 6 months of BF membership. Therefore, I believe lava_lamp will need to upgrade his membership prior to the passaround beginning. What say ye Morrow (given your opinion of his reviews)?

Thank you for the kind words, Mr. Morrow. I just updated the user group. (My membership expired and while I paid a renewal, I forgot to make the change.)

I'm not eligible for this but I have what might be a stupid question. Are all of the knives shipped together? If they are wouldn't they be more than $900 to replace all of them?

That was the approximate value when the passaround was initially organized. I look at replacement costs at the beginning of every passaround and adjust the insurance amount accordingly.

I would definitely be interested in this passaround if a few more knives are added. I second the idea regarding a ZT0560/61 being added. I wouldn't mind seeing a ZT 0121 fixed blade being offered in a passaround at some point. I've been dying to get my hands on ZT's fixed blades. Preferably the 0121 and 0100!!!

As far as folders go.....I would love to try out a ZDP 0350, Kershaw Rake (Composite Blade) and perhaps a Cryo.

    Ok, updated list:

    1. Spyderphreak (me)
    2. lava_lamp
    3. jhyde7585
    4. ZYA_LTR
    5. five.
    6. type00rev

I would LOVE to see a 0560/0561 in this, but I am not holding my breath for one given the current state of affairs for that model. I guess we can keep our fingers crossed. The others type00rev mentioned are good suggestions as well. Ultimately, it will come down to what Morrow can get his hands on come time to start this passaround.

    Four more spots open!

The Rake won't be a problem. I'll try and get my hands on one of the ZT fixed blades mentioned.

jhyde7585 needs to be #1 on the list. I promised him the #1 spot if he upgraded his membership....which he did.
