Looking at becoming a member again (I think I was years ago)

    ANYWAY

What the heck is the Pirate membership?
    $1K for 2 years?
Does a blonde show up at my door to give me my custom Microtech Blade Forums knife or something?
    HAHA

Seriously can anyone tell me what it is?

I think that is about right but it is not one but two blondes. Maybe it is a lifetime membership? I am curious about the membership myself.

Pirate level membership grants you all the perks of the Platinum, but also gives you larger specs for avatars, unlimited PM's, photos, and all the trimmings.

Think of it like Platinum ++. The membership is good for 2 years, and is very select crowd.

It stemmed from people wanting to donate more, to help the site, but also wanting to get a little more status.

    Hope that helps.

Too bad it is not a lifetime membership or something.
I guess Ill likely do a 3 yr Plat when I get back home later
    this week.

While I have not been on the board in a LONG time
I was able to purchase some nice pieces through the
forum and I recently picked up a couple nice new toys
thanks to the forum so I am glad to be able to support
    the board!

I paid 100 or 125 for a lifetime membership to USN.

My NRA Lifetime membership was 300.

Heck, I'd do it. But my wife, the accountant, and all my kids would rise up ... and SMITE me.

I'd go for a lifetime membership as well but my NRA was 1000.00 not 300

You should have talked to me first. I could have done it for a lot less than that for you.

I don't know if I'd set the cost of a lifetime membership at 15 years or 30 years.

I'd say 30 years, but what do I know? At the rate things are going, there may not even be an internet by then.
