How to upgrade from gold to knifemaker??

    Hello

I paid a few days ago for gold membership to sell some of my knives ( I thought gold is ok for me, because I'm not a real pro, but a hobbist). Now Blues say, that I have to upgrade my membership to knifemaker/craftsman/service provider, otherwise I will be banned or something.
I don't really have a problem with that, but I have a question. If I pay for the knifemaker/craftsman/service provider membership will I get back the 25 dollar sum which I payed for the gold? Or can I use that amount up to pay partialy for the knifemaker/craftsman/service provider membership?
Or that 25 dollars are just gone?

    Thanks

    Szilard

You just buy the knifemaker membership and the gold is prorated onto your new membership.

Blues did not say you would be "banned or something". Blues said you must upgrade:

You must upgrade your membership to knifemaker/craftsman/service provider to sell knives or other items you build yourself.

Do not offer any other items for sale that you made without doing so first.

You may post in the service & support area to ask Spark to prorate your gold membership toward your new membership afterward.
And in regard to the other sale thread:

Please upgrade your membership to knifemaker/craftsman/ service provider to sell your own knives/sheathes/creations.

You may not do so as a gold member and must remove the link to your business in your signature until you do so.

    Thank you.

    Sorry. Seems I misunderstood you.
Meanwhile I tried to upgrade,I selected KnifeMaker / Craftsman / Service Provider Membership with 60 $, but it says: An invalid currency was selected
Is the problem again with me?

I can't help you with the currency issues though I'm surprised you can't pay with the same method you did for your "gold" membership.

Perhaps one of the other moderators will know more about this and be able to make a suggestion. If not, you'll have to deal directly with Spark on this issue.

It's a problem with you. Select the membership level, for 1 year or 3 years, whichever.

I just did that, and it didn't work! Isn't there another way? I could paypal you the amount directly.

Post a new thread here in Tech Support asking Spark to prorate your remaining Gold time to the new Knifemaker membership. That way, the money from the Gold will extend the Knifemaker.
