I have two of these combat trauma bags. One is my vehicle first aid kit, that I liberated upon exiting the Corps and the other is one I bought off another forum a couple weeks back. Great bags!

Here is my GORUCK GR1. Great pack, great company. I also have their larger GR2 for cold weather and family travel.

I'd love to see a million pics of this if you're ever bored.

Kind of a awkward shot because I was going more for the bag than the knife, but here's a recent shot of my BK-16 resting atop my new Frost River Summit Expedition:

My usual woods bag is a USGI MOLLE II Assault Pack, perhaps the best and most comfortable small rucksack the US military ever issued, but I've got a weakness for traditional materials like the waxed canvas and leather used by Frost River.

    Nice bag, nice knife.

I just upgraded the Maxpedition Pygmy Falcon ll with a Monkey Combat Admin Pouch.
It really has made a great pack that much mo betta.
I've finally got a place for my patches. lol
The Admin Pouch has lots of pockets. It's definately gonna come in handy.
It holds my first aid kit, maps, flashlight, and edc stuff.
The Falcon ll would be perfect if it had some more molle straps and loop panels.
I'm still very happy with it and would reccomend it to anyone looking for a good day pack/light overnighter.

Don't find fault. Find a remedy.

Thought I'd share some pics of my EDC bag: a Jack Wolfskin "Intercity." Basically it's a messenger style bag with a back zip-up compartment that contains a backpack harness. Best urban carry option I've ever had and it's still lookin' good after around ten years of constant carry...

The only problem with it is the same problem shared by many bags these days: over-specialized compartments, organizer pockets, widget clips, etc. drive me nuts! Just give me a large main dump compartment and maybe some side pockets and I'm good, thanks...

    Mei

I miss this thread so I figured I'd bump it with a post.

I use this for quick day hikes near my house. It has some straps on the back to mount my bigger knives scout style if I want. Great pack. Also has a pouch for a camelback bladder. Made in the USA. YKK oversize zippers.

What I had inside one day:

The lake that was behind me:

    Cheers all

    A couple more:

This is my big week+ hiking bag. 6,900 + expandable by 1,000 I've taken it out for 3+ week treks before. Got their new version of this bag last year but sold it because IMO the Osprey Crescent 110 is superior.

Deuter Futura 35. Take this on overnights. Has a built in rain cover that zips out of the bottom which is great for the PNW. Yes, that's a crazy creek chair that I lug along with me. I like to have a nice seat in the wild.

I have a milspec monkey admin pouch on my rush 24 pack, I love it, its fits a lot of stuff in there and it doesn't take up much space.

My Duluth Pack. I usually throw this in the canoe when I'm going down the river. The biggest thing inside is a pancho and LL Bean fleece sleeping bag (it's not heavy duty but would certainly be welcome if I had to unexpectedly spend a night outdoors). Also extra socks and whatnot. All this in a plastic dry bag.

My BK-3 and two tea tins that hold fat wood, matches, flint and striker, candle stumps and assorted small necessities. Also my Silva lensatic compass.

    This has served me well.

I just wanted to add some pics of my bag

I have a hammock, a few emergency blankets, fish kit, some matches in a pill bottle, large poncho and a water purifier tuck in there deep. I'm still building the kit a bit so its a little incomplete
