Does CRK send out new box/birthcard?

I was wondering if CRK will replace the box and birthcard if you no longer have them? I'm guessing the birthcard is a no go because that would be pretty hard to verify other than the steel and the year it was made. Has anyone ever asked them and what was the response?

You can send a knife in for them to authenticate. They will replace the box and issue a card with the model and blade steel, just no birthdate. It will be signed. Only thing missing will be the birth date. Knife has to be sent to crk.

if you re-furb it, you will get a new birthcard with the date of the re-furb

I sure hope so, I just sent a s30v sebenza in for refurb and asked for a birth card and box. They said the will give me a replacment box but the birthcard is only replicated under certain circumstances.
