After coming back for a near month i keep refreshing what i learned with Randy. Many techniques he had shown and i tried to recall and learn here and there...
Randy generously shares the high level thinking of AMOK and one particular matter keeps coming back to my mind, "In AMOK we want to bring out the knifer of you..." "Every individual Amok stye is different we have Mark Amok, Tom Amok and Randy Amok. etc." further quoted by Randy.

Then, Ippon!! I have being looking for something different and now is in front of me. In fighting there is no style and one have to follow his instinct and react.
In traditional style we emphasize to follow the style to look like Shotokan or Shito ryu. Never i quote "i want to bring out Shotokan out of you" to my student. We preserve every single of the tradition even Zen teachings of Su (follow), Ha(break), Ri(leave) is in the system. In the Ri stage or enlightenment stage one has to break away from his Sensei or style to form his own. But once this is plan one has to leave the organization to do so.

I am still teaching traditional kempo but AMOK open a new horizon. My thinking now is "AMOK is an evolution that has not stop!"

Not only the teachings Randy also shares how he get started with AMOk with Tom. This people are one way or another coming from the traditional background too. The hardest of all this is to change and accept a new methodology. For this part it is not hard for me b'cos i am looking for changes.
So much so to talk talk and here are some photos from the afternoon training session in very AMOK style.

and AMOK!!!

Hope you enjoy.
