Just rec. the Epicenter, the new and improved model. Holy crap, I don't know how BOKER does it but about as fine of manufactured folder as I've ever tried and I have tried literally hundreds. Everything is PERFECT. Lock up, deployment, blade centering etc.etc. The knife just screams quality throughout. Anyways just a home run as far as I'm concerned. keepem sharp

PS Just a quick edit for another thought. I have very severe carpal tunnel, bi-laterally and normally don't like an all ti or metal handled knife for the simple reason I have a tough time finding a decent grip. The Epicenter is countoured and rounded off so well that the knife just gets sucked into a secure grip even with my hands. Hats off to BOKER.

I got mine and it is great. I haven't found any quality control problems on it.

It is quite a solid design. I didn't know that it has a full flat-ground blade and it is 4mm thick with a gradual distal taper.

I have been waiting for an affordable framelock design for quite a while.

I paid 140 for mine with shipping included. Like I said for the price point and the quality of build it is a no brainer. Just a very stellar build quality to the knife. Very comfortable to hold to with a positive grip every time. Unique palm swells too. Well maybe not palm swells but nicely contoured and rounded top to bottom. Even the pocket clip is over done. That ain't bad either. Lots of thickness left behind the integral cut out on the lock too. I've seen some relief cuts there that were paper thin, this ain't paper thin so I don't think the lock taking a bend through repeated openings etc. will be an issue. For instance I've seen some high end folders folks swear buy that when you look at the knife in the open position cutting edge up, the lock and bar will almost be at an angle to the face tang the relief cut is so thin there. Ok that's it.

I am in the process of getting rid of my prod. knives and only keeping my handmade knives but you know what this one is staying. I like it so much I might just buy another for a spare. keepem sharp

I just got mine in the mail..Everything seems good. Locks up nice and early no rock or play. I hope it can stay like this for a while. Blade is sharp out of the box very simple and nice design.

I would like to see the first run of these knives for a comparison..This knife is really nice. I started shying away from framelocks because it seemed that everyone I owned had lock rock. That pisses me off. Im not going to get into naming off knives that have problems right out of the gate but I will EDC this knife hard for a few weeks and see if it still stays tight.

I wish that it was a flipper.

But maybe later on they will offer a version of one of Todd Rexford's flippers or fixed blades.

I have been able to find this for $110 from 5-star retailers. I certainly hope that they are authentic. I may have to pull the trigger on this.
