.... just got my first, an A100 well...technically it is my "second" as I still have another A100 sitting in the US. When I found a retailer with one here (given the new application of the "flick knife test" being applied by Aus Customs) I could not resist grabbing it up. The A100 is really the only Emerson that has (visually) appealed to me as I really like the sleek lines and minimalist approach....!!!! So far so good... I still hope the other will land safely but at least this way I have the model I wanted..!!!

I really want one in black. Im not sure if I am going to get a partially serrated blade or not. The commander is also on my short list.

Same here, it is one of the absolute best no frills knives from EKI. Although, I have to admit that the Gentlman Jm is one of those knives rhat I loved as soon as I saw it. It is perfect? Indeed!

I just got my first Emerson today as well. I picked up a mini commander from my local gun shop. I am very pleased.

I bet you're not done. There are plenty of more models to choose from.

Well the other A100 is in the post just now .. The hard part is that the Customs test for a "flick knife" out here has made many previously fine folders "prohibited imports" so I don't know what other models I may be able to get. Trying to get this first one a little broken in as it is still a bitch to open and it is locking up early (but it gets better each day)...

Take your knife apart, clean it with warm soapy water and an old toothbrush. Rinse with clean water, dry with a soft rag. Reassemble with no oil and you should be good to go.

Second one arrived while I was away last week.... Opened and inspected by Aus Customs but sent on without issue. I will snap a pic of them together at some point soon.
