Grrrr... Damn you automobile!

So apparently it's not my family's week for dealing with our cars. My sisters truck had her clutch give out 3 days ago, my other sisters starter gave out yesterday and today, my car has decided to keep its keys to itself, and I'm sitting at the dealership with it running unable to turn the key to turn it off!

Not something I want from a 3 year old car with under 30k kms...

Anyone else having car woes??

Years ago I had that problem, ignition switch misbehavin'. I pulled the lead off the battery to turn the engine off. To re-start had to replace terminal and short across the starter motor.

My solution was to replace the ignition switch with a rocker for on off and a momentary for starting. I secretly hid a second rocker in series with the first as a kill switch. After that no keys required!

That was a car that had 200K on it and I drove it until death did us part.
