I know the bill was in congress since last year but I saw somewhere that it passed, if so when does it take effect and what does that mean now?

Not going to happen. Even if passes the House and the Senate, they will never be able to get enough votes to override a veto, especially with the Martin case dominating the news.

I'll have to be happy with, what is it 13 states that reciprocate with PA.

It looked good for a while but if a veto is imminent and shuts it down is there no other recourse for legally licenced ccp holders?

Isn't this bill meant to allow law abidin' citizens who pass the srutiny and background

Some people in places like New York are already saying that such a law would allow lunatics like Zimmerman who could not get any type of license there, to run amuck around the streets of Manhattan with a loaded "assault pistol"

The Bill passed in the House last year, but not in the Senate, and I agree with Joe that at least right now it is very difficult it will pass.
