I look forward to seeing this beauty, I was lucky enough to meet Sam and Adam at last blade show. Background story on the knife is sad news although a testimony of character of the makers

Yes, Sam is that large and a good chap to boot. Adam is not what I would call a small man, but he sure looks dainty in that picture.There are some very talented smiths in Western Europe. I have gotten to meet a number of them in the three trips I have made to the Gembloux show and guys like Jos, Toni and Erik have been good about showing us some of their work.
