You guys made me look up the Bilderbergers. On this page, I found these two quotes:

How dangerous can a group like the Bilderbergers be? They are named after a dusty, musty old hotel.

That's not what they call themselves. The individuals who noted that a lot of VIPs were meeting in sekret were so upset that not only didn't they know what was going on but they didn't even know the name of the convention or how these people were affiliated they decided to name them after the hotel they originally were spotted meeting at.

Well, this thread seems to have pretty much degenerated into inanity (although one could argue that it had already done that as soon as some of our members started making noises about how there are people ready to launch the revolution).

Again, the point I would make is that unless you want another 4 years of the obama you had better get your tail down to the polls and vote for Romney, because one of those two is going to end up being president... and watch out for Bildebergers.

Yes. It's just as plausible as a vast "left wing conspiracy" or a vast "right wing conspiracy"......
Seems to me that those in this forum will only support the idea of conspiracy only if it suits your own beliefs. When it MIGHT imply that one of your percieved saviours could be controlled or part of it in some way, it automatically becomes some whacky "conspiracy theory.".....

I understand why y'all would be so fearful. I know that in your heart of hearts you know Romney is no choice. You have all said as much in that he is the lesser of the two evils. Yet you choose to support "evil."

I have clearly demonstrated with the videos of Brzezinski and Brown that plans exist to create a global governing architecture. Brzezinski's speech implies conspiracy by definition.

I will start a new thread with more details. Should be fun for the Ostriches of this forum.

you seem to think i've attacked your position, when, in fact, i have not. nor have i provided my own position at any time. the only thing i've attacked are your sources. if you are using books or websites that are using false quotes to advance a particular case, this should give you pause. at the very least, you should abandon these sources as untrustworthy.

I apologize if I misunderstood your point. I often write these responses during breaks at work. The quotes were a quick google search on one of those breaks. I usually try to confirm these things with other sources.

Dude . . . the very nature of government necessitates conspiracy. Sekret stuff is sekret . . . and you meet in sekret to discuss it . . . and when the cowans point their fingers and make ignorant accusations you LIE about what you're doing to protect the sekret. Stop listening to Alex Jones and read some proper History books. ALL governments have sekrets, and they plot sekret plans which makes that -- yes, you guessed it, a CONSPIRACY (all caps). You get a cookie!

Powerful people, including world leaders, have the right to meet in sekret to drink scotch and talk about how everything seems to be going down the tubes and what to do in order to stabilize things. They have ALWAYS done this. It is generally unofficial and social and no cameras or recording devices are present (although the CEOs of most major media companies are). I support their right to drink scotch and discuss politics, policies, and economics at their leisure in a private setting.

This is GOOD tyr, you recognize that people conspire.....You even recognize that these people who meet in "sekret" discuss "how things are going down the tubes and make plans to stabilize things. The difference between you and me seems to be that I do NOT believe they have a right to meet in "sekret" especially when those plans are going to determine the quality of our lives.

So, when World leaders in governments, businesses, religion etc. meet in "sekret' one should naturally be suspicious, especially since it has been the desire of hyper ambitious persons throughout history to control the World.....I don't know what is so difficult to believe about that concept tyr, but you definitly seem to too readily dismiss the possiblity of such plans, even in the face of historical evidence of such a desire to rule the World.....

As for Alex Jones; I've heard his program a few times. Heard him mention the Bilderburgers and such, but in general, he is not a regular part of my conspiracy routine. My conclusions are my own based on various sources, including persons I directly associate with who are, or have been in positions to know what I am talking about here.

Any group, meeting in secret to discuss plans which could potentially have a global impact should raise red flags in anyone's mind. Whether their intentions are good or bad.

What's more, if the goal is to bring about a one-world government run by some kind of a board of governors, they're doing a really bad job of it.

You seem to think that such an endeavor is an easy thing to accomplish when History has shown that it is IMMENSLY difficult. In the 20th Century we've had two startup organizations created, nominally for this purpose, the League of Nations and the UN.....So, it is a fact that some powerful individuals DO want to create a World Government.....The first of your two quotes hints at that fact.
