This Amazing knife is now with me. I am just too pleased for words. It's a super neat design, it's got a flow of all elements that is just so attractive and it fits and balances in my hand to perfection. The fit and finish is flawless and Eliot really knows how to get a truly superior cutting edge on his knives. It pops hairs the instant the edge touches them.
What i didn't realize from the pictures is that this is also a really tough knife. The blade and tang are one honkin piece of steel with the blade ground nice and thin but not delicate. With this knife in-hand i feel i could attack anything, even slice my way out of a downed helicopter.
And to my surprise Eliot makes an equally outstanding sheath: thick leather formed to snap fit this knife perfectly and beautifully dyed and finished as well.
The pictures do not impart the quality of Eliot's work, so i was really blown away surprised when i opened up the parcel.
Thank you Eliot. You have instantly become one of my most favorite knifemakers. I could not be more 100% thrilled and happy by any Fixed Blade.
