Where to get blade shortened/reshaped in Vancouver?

I have a couple knives that I would like to have the blades shortened on to comply with the carry laws in other countries. They would need shortening by 1cm at most, and it would be great if the original blade shape could be retained as best as possible.

Does anyone know where I could get this done in the Vancouver area?

Just buy a Spyderco slipit for travelling. It isn't worth your time and money to get someone to remake your knives. If you are moving, then sell them or store them. But don't ruin them.

I'm going to be there for a long time so I would prefer to have a nice selection of EDC knives, just like how most of us here like a rotation for EDC. The legal limit where I'm going is 6cm for any blade metal forward of the handle (not just the sharpened edge). This severely limits my selection, so it would be nice to have a few knives modified to be legal. I have no idea what this would cost, that is why I am inquiring.

I already own or am planning to purchase the following <6cm blade knives:
    Benchmade 211 Activator
    Boker Gnome
    Boker Wharcom

A few knives I have are very close to being 6cm blades and would require just slight modification. Interested in getting it done to a Benchmade 555HG Mini Grip and Spyderco Cat.

It's your money man. Personally, I don't see the point of purchasing a knife simply to have it shortened by 1cm. Finding someone who has the right tools and skills to shorten a blade, retain the original shape and not ruin the heat treat is going to be a tall order methinks. There are numerous >6cm blades to choose from or you could go the route many of us do and buy a knife locally. If you are so concerned with legality, a locally purchased knife is far less likely to attract unwanted attention. "When in Rome . . ." Just my 0.02 though.
