Oh, kiss my ass Murph, that Colt is spectacular, and I have a real soft spot for them old Colts.

I was planning on snuffing your ass at the Gathering anyways, now, I have a trophy to take.

I will hardly even go to the mall without my camelback. They are amazing, skiing, hiking, camping, fishing, squatching, frogging, frolicking, and pretty much anything that ends in ING. Gota stay hidrated!

I tried my first one, on a hike a couple of weeks ago, and I was kind of taken back by it. I never really liked "warm" water on a hike, and I always thought my heat and sweat would warm it up too much.

I was wrong. Stays colder and easier to get to. Hell yeah.

Oh, I have had a bladder bag.(just not a camelback backpack one) I just dont like them. Too easy for them to get funky, too hard to clean if they do, and they have no versatility. I like a multiple steel bottle/cup set up, because of how versatile they are.

I meant the Condor EDC pouchs are as nice or almost as nice as the maxped pouches. Now the Condor PACKS are nowhere near the same quality as Maxped or CBs. But I think the small Maxped accessories are extremely overpriced for the most part.

I think i would rather toss a couple water bottles in then use a bladder and have the drinking tube in my way, but Like I said, I will try it both ways, see which one I prefer. I'm set in my ways but I'm always willing to at least try a new technique

Hard to beat a GI canteen/cup and a Nalgene combo though. IMO

Some of you Army-types may know if this is a real issue thing or just a novelty pin. A guy here at work told me he found it in a car he bought at auction last night.

Hey guys just wanted to throw this out there. I think I am going to make a new set of these for myself because I don’t like how the hex side came out.
Any Beckerhead that wants them just say so and they are yours. If no Beckerheads want them who ever speaks up first gets them.

The fit is pretty good, Slightly over-sized so you could sand them down to make them perfect. They still need to be shaped unless you like flat slabs. They are corian which is a really hard plastic commonly used for counter tops so it’s pretty tough. However, being a plastic I would assume it could be dyed so any of you looking to make some colored scales might want to try it with them. The material is pretty easy to work with, I was using my belt sander and it wasn’t melting at all so that’s not really an issue. They are by no means perfect but they are free.
Whoever wants them I’ll send them out tomorrow because I am heading to the post office anyway. I need to send in the poster I made for the contest over in the Ka-bar forum. I feel like a complete D-bag because it has taken me so long to get my shit together and send it out. Between finals and life I couldn’t seem to manage it.
Here it is with my Grandpas Ka-bar from WW2.

Thanks man, I figured might as well give em away rather than let them sit in my tool bag for forever.

got my IWB holster today. Thicker than i imagined and i guess i need to play around with it to find a comfortable position since its not that comforatable. I like knowing its there but not painfully so when i move. I think i may just end up staying with my falco pancake

Got my Beckerhead hat today, thanks Moose! Funny thing happened when I put it on though, my cool factor went up 100 points. That brings my total cool factor to 100pts!
