EKI will probably take care of it.
I've bought a few knives off fleabay over the years, with various issues; the main issue usually is a broken blade tip. Fairly easy to re-work, if you're patient.

Agreed on contacting EKI. They took care of my Horseman. Very nice folks!

Grind the sharp corners off the broken edges and make it a CQC-15-SARK!
I sent the knife in to Emerson a few days ago, and they called me today. The nice lady on the other end said that they would replace the blade for me, but that they didn't have any in stock at the moment. She said that i could wait for a replacement blade, or i could choose another model, and they would send it out to me!
Well....i initially choose a "Journeyman", but they were out of those, so i settled on a CQC-8! I want both of these models, so needless to say i was thrilled!
Thank you EMERSON!!!!
Thats very cool. Congrats to Emerson - and to you - for the good customer service.
That's awesome service good job Emerson
Emerson is tops! And the cqc8 is a monster that will never let you down. I have been carrying mine for 3 years.
For free?
That's really cool of them. If you want two, you shouldn't have to chose, have them replace one and buy the other. With customer service like that, why would you get anything else?
Nice, thats really great to hear!
That's exactly why I continue to buy from Emerson: Family-run business ethics...
That, and because they make one heck of a knife.
