What's your EDC light?

I just lost my 4Sevens Quark mini AA at the gym yesterday after carrying it for over a year everyday/everywhere. Hope the bastage that has it now is enjoying it..just ordered another one and a Nitecore EZAA R5 to compare. I carried the Quark mini AA in my front suit pants pocket with no problem every day, and it fits in my zippered arm pocket as well; about the size of a tube of chapstick!

I feel for you man. Years ago, when I lost my arc AAA, I was surprised at how much it pissed me off.

I carried a Fenix LD10 for a few years, but currently my EDC light is LED Lenser P3. It doesn't have the power and all of the functions of the Fenix, but it's smaller and lighter - which I find more comfortable in summer -and gives a lot of light for its size.

My current EDC light is a Surefire E1B Backup. Only two modes, works great. BTW, my Fenix PD32 crapped out on me- it just quit working. Any of you light benders have an idea on whats wrong? And yes, I've checked the batts.

I carry and use a 4sevens Quark 123x2 X.

I carry it because it has a deep carry pocket clip and can use a single rechargable battery, which is important to me because I'm in the electrical trade and use it multiple times every day. Buying CR123 batteries would kill me.

A few other things to try:

Check that the threads and contacts are clean, and also check to see that the switch in the tailcap is tightened and has not come loose.

If I'm out hiking/camping/backpacking: Quark 2xAA and Zebralight H51w (neutral). Photon Microlight II is on keychain with other small handy things in my pocket.

I used to have a Fenix LD10 but I guess mine had a faulty chip in it or something because after owning it for like 5 weeks one day it just stopped working. Tried every kind of trouble shooting on it I could google before just returning it for a refund. I had bought a 4sevens Quark Mini 123 as a secondary/emergency kit light with the Fenix, while I shopped around for which light to get to replace the LD10 I carried the Quark Mini expecting it to be not enough features/ease of operation to be my permanent EDC light. It's been a year and the thing hasn't left my pocket and I don't bother looking around online anymore for a different light, I love my Quark Mini 123!!!
