I caved and put a giant hole in my wallet. - Benchmade Adamas

I would have preferred it in the desert tan handles, but it was the very last Adamas they had at my local knife dealer, and with the troubles I had with my Boker Subcom, there is no way in hell that I'm ordering one online.

This is my first large folder, and it very well may be my last large folder. I really don't see why everyone has a problem with the D2 steel and how hard it is to sharpen. literally under 5 minutes on my sharpmaker and it was push cutting news paper. God damn this knife is everything they say about it. I highly recommend this knife.

Share some Adamas love in this thread!

Looks great, i wish i had some money to thrash on one of those with the sand coloured handle, but i do not and i suspect that handle bump is not very comfortable for my small hands

Just ll have to keep playin with my Rift

I did the same thing with a Bedlam not too long ago.

I can't wait for mine to arrive in the mail...I've got the exact same knife (all black, LE) coming in trade early next week! It's my first Benchmade and first time with the axis lock. I had to part with one of my favorite Spydies, the Gayle Bradley, for it, though. I'm pumped!

I have the same version as you do. I love it, but have found I have over bought folders in the last year or so, so my Adamas gets no pocket love right now. I have all of the following BM's NIB still in the box... (too many for me) Small Onslaught, Large Onslaught, Two Small Grips, Large Grip, Knifewoks Limited AFCK, Adamas, Auto Presidio with EAG logo, Mini Refex, Contego. EDC rotation Rukus 99% of the time, Barrage, and HEST DPx 2.0. I'm so stuck on the Rukus, that I put the Barrage in my pocket this morning, and then took it back out and put the Rukus in. Anyway, love the Adamas, and I could see getting stuck on that knife also, as well as the Contego. Those are nice EDC blades I think.

You should love it mine was flawless fit and finish and lock-up, plus pics don't do that knife justice, when you get it you will see what I mean, it's sweet.

That's a terrible problem you have. Maybe you could pass some of those my way. I'll make sure they get some pocket time

Good work, Jill. If you are not a professional photographer you should be. In the right retail venue, those shots alone would sell many knives,

I love some Adamas love! The past week has seen my BM810 Contego in place of my Adamas, that had been my constant companion since January. But tomorrow, in honor of some Adamas love, will see it riding duty in my right front pocket!

I have one of each flavor, but I like this one the best.

Adamas : One of my favorites at the moment. Slightly kicked out of pocket by 0560 at the moment, but not out of one being greater than the other. Different pleasures for different days. Props to the guy who posted the Bedlam as well. Throw in the M390 PM2 and you have my quad set of folders that I EDC on a rotating basis.

It would be boring if all knives looked the same.

I like how easy it flips open. You can just hold the handle and give it a small flip and the heavy blade flies out.
