    LOL, thanks...Don't sell yourself short. You only see the good one I took. Yours look better than MANY that I took. On that note, isn't that a clearwing moth? I don't have one of those yet.

    I have forgotten the species. I will look it up again. Its amazing how many different species I found when I looked them up.

    Yes Clearwing or Hermaris gracilis I think. The wing was not translucent though. I have many more pictures of them.

    Thats what I figured. I wonder if they become clear further on in the year.

    I am not sure but you may be right. They are magical when you see them. I have only seen them twice now. I would like to find a better link so that I could better understand life cycle and definitively identify it.
    I will do a little more research.

    I always think ...wouldn't it be cool if it was a new species
