it's too bad I hate all of those blades. The tanto might be alright without the edge serrations.
guess I'll just have to stock up on 20ga buckshot.

Anyone know if the brand-new Old Hickory knives are as high-quality/''good'' as the vintage ones? I aint having any luck finding used ones and the new ones are pretty cheap.

Kinda interested to know this as well. I need some old-school carbon kitchen knives on a budget that I don't mind to regrind to repurpose if i'm in a mad-science mood.

I have been wondering this also. I am thinking of picking up my father one because he is getting into smoking his own meat and mentioned that he needs a good butcher knife. I definitely interested in the verdict.

Everyone seems to rave over those green river knife works knives for butchering. Not sure why but they do

There is a junk shop in Cape Girardeau that usually has a box full of them. I'll look next trip over there. They usually run four or five bucks apiece.

I would take like 4-6 of them, you know how to pick em so I'm glad to trust your judgement. Thanks Trade, if I find any locally I'll let ya know.

Usually all the flea markets and junk stores have them, and yard sales. Since I actually started looking for them I have seen zero. LOL

Well just hit the button for a Prowler 13t. Going to have to sit a bit while I get generate more funds to outfit it. Probably read 50 thousand reviews on this kayak this week. Anybody have suggestions on midget ninja sized paddles to look at? I can only handle so much gear research in a week. Already got the pfd thing narrowed down.
Choices were yellow, sand or camo. Camo goes with everything.
