New to ZT's and man am I hooked!!

I've had a lot of folders over the years but just picked up my first ZT's (looking for the holy grail) and wow am I impressed!! I got an 0350 and 0550 and can't put them down. It used to be I only had to worry about ESEE or BHK.

I, too, am new to the ZT bandwagon but the 0550 has me completely hooked. I always thought spending over $200 on a knife was absolutely ridiculous, but I can say that the 0550 is easily worth every penny. The design, materials used, and fit/finish are all great. The problem with realizing that a $200+ knife is actually worth $200+ is that now I think a $800+ knife might actually be worth $800+ as well.

I agree, the 0550 is worth every penny, and once open it feels as solid as a fixed blade. I'm really impressed with mine!

I have a Sebenza, had an Umnumzaan, have a Strider on the way, and ZT's stack up with up to all them. The 550 is a beast at 1/2 the price.

Have my first two 0350's in hand now and they have bumped by Boa as my fave knife... Jus thinking the 0350 is a trifle small... sooooo... looking at a 030x next... and a 0200 maybe... and def, the 0560 LE with CF thats coming....

That really blows the budget out the window... Guess I'm going to be selling/trading a bunch of stuff...

ZT's are awesome! Once I tried one I was hooked.

My plan is to get an 0550, 0560 and probably more 0300 & 0350 variants at minimum.... lol

    It never ends!

    Hi guys,
I love ZT knives and i''m about to buy one,so i want a piece of advice:
for wich should i go between the 0350 and the 0200?
    i like so much the 0350,the design,the fact that is a litle smaler(i have small hands),but i''m not sure about the spead safe;
the 0200 is a great knife but i think is to big for EDC,and i like the shape of the 03500 beter

    Thanks

If you have smaller hands the 0350 should suit you well and it should EDC very well, and about the speed safe...it's great. I never had an AO type knife before I got my 0350 and the thwack of the blade opening is increadible!!
Even with it's slightly smaller size it's still VERY capeble of heavy duty use IMHO. I'm REALLY happy with both my ZT's and really want to get a 0560 and 0300.

hah, I feel the same way now. When I first saw the xm-18 I didn't even look twice cus I thought you'd have to be crazy to pay that much for a knife. Then I got the 550,551, and 560 and really dig the hinderer designs, now I find myself wanting a gen 4 3.5in xm18

I couldn't help myself and picked up a 0300 to keep my other two company, what a hefty knife!!
Well yesterday we were running wire for an electric fence around a new pasture and took it through the woods for the cows to get some shade. There was a 2" sapling and wild grape vines in the way of the route we ran it and my 300 performed well beyond my expectations in cutting vines and removing the sapling.
I never chopped with a folder before but I did it with only enough force just to be effective which I don't think came anywhere close to stressing the blade. I'm REALLY impressed!!!

got my two 0350's one somehwat used, one brand new... and I have to say... WoW... now I'm looking for a 300/301/302 Yes I know .. I can dream... I love tan knives for some reason... Anyways, just the feel and fit and finish is great, and the new one now qualifies as my sharpest out of the box knife. Very impressed, the even beat my Boa for wanting to carry them. and thats something.
