If you are at all like me, avoid cocobolo! After I use it I look like Fat Bastard from Austin Powers, I swell up, my eyes swell closed, and I itch!

OK,I changed the wrap to orange & black & epoxied it and ground in a little penetrator tip.
It took a few tries to get the P tip good enough that I was happy with it so I ended up taking off maybe 1/8" of the tip & now it looks a bit like a simi wharnie, but that's ok,I like the look.
I thought the epoxy would soak in more & is a bit thick, but it gives a good grip so I'm happy with it too.
Can't wait to get the satin LRK & put some scales on it.

Looks good, reminds me of the Busse penetrater tips. I would also like a tutorial on wrapping.

Hey I drive a Chevy,if anything we should be stabbing Toyota hoods!
Yep,got the idea for the PT from Bussekins.
I really don't want to take the wrap off now that it is epoxied on just to show how I did it,so I'll use a piece of wood or plexiglass or something.I'll have to scrounge something up at work tomorrow & get it posted for y'all.
I have a little necker from Rick Lowe that came with that style wrap & I just coppied it.
On a side note,I did have the other wrap coated in clear Plastidip & that stuff is tuff!It wasn't too hard to get off,but it was hard enough that I know it would have lasted a long time.
That stuff sticks like glue & took some of the HT scale off when I peeled it off!
It's very grippy too + it comes in colors.(just thought I'd mention it if anyone was curious.)

Speaking of penetrator tip......
I just had to do it.
Even after going through the quarter & with the quarter still stuck on it the tip was able to do small curlies.
I loves me some JK 01!

Understand, but Toyota steel would not be a challenge like good old Chevy steel (I know - probably the same stuff - it really was a reference to an old extreme use test of a JK where a fellow stabbed an old Chevy truck hood to test the knife).
Thanks and best regards -
