Is it legal to have a fixed blade in your car? What about a folder? I don't need a conceal carry permit right? Just wondering cause California has a ton of stupid weapon laws. Thanks!

In short, a folding knife of any size is legal to carry concealed, in a car or not.
Fixed blades are legal carry openly, such as in a belt shealth, unless prohibited by local city law. If in a car, if it is stowed in the trunk or other out of reach place, that is fine. While in plain site is legal, that get's tricky to do in a car,

I'm not in Cali, but in most states, as long as something's in the trunk, it's considered to be out of reach of the driver and not to be a threat.

I always keep my BK2 in my trunk

If you drive a pickup truck like I do, best bet is a locked case behind the seat, out of immediate reach of passenger and driver. This is how I transport firearms during hunting season.
