No, they are political cowards who were more concerned about being sneaky and saving their jobs than actually implementing the kind of health care financing plan that they claim to believe in.

But there's a lot of things Democrats could have done to fix things in the last three years. They did none of those things. Instead, they spent all their political capital on an unpopular, ill-advised, broken, and unconstitutional health care plan. From this, I observe that Obama and the rest of the Democratic leadership are either (1) incompetent or (2) not actually interested in fixing the problems caused by 100 years of crony capitalism. Either way, they have to go.
