    That is a shame, i carried a next gen in Iraq in '03. I loved it and got a lot of use out of her

    I'm glad I bought one of these a few years ago. I haven't used it much and I guess I won't, since it's a collector's item now.

    I'd buy the D2 version if it came in plain edge. I don't buy any knives with serrations anymore.

    Here's mine all stripped and shiny






    They're not cheap, but they're pretty awesome. One thing also is that if it ever breaks or anything goes wrong, it's replaced for free.

    I loathed them. The pommel was too big and bulky. I couldn't switch to a reverse grip 'cause the pommel kept getting in the way.
