    Hello BF,

I'm a tinkerer by heart and as my love of knives has grown my love for strops have grown as well. I like working with wood as of lately and the exotics are my favorite by far. The leathers I currently work with are Tooling, Latigo and split from Wickett and Craig. I will branch out into using cordovan and kangaroo eventually. All my strops are made to your specs as long as I have the supplies available. I also include a free charging of compound from the stock I have. Please let me know if you have any particular ideas/wants and I'll be happy to work with you fine folks.

For pictures please check out my signature block.

List of compounds I have available...
Monocrystalline Diamond spray in .25 or .5micron and 1 or 3micron in paste form
    Polycrystalline Diamond spray in .1micron
CBN spray in .25 and .5micron
    Boron Carbide in 1micron
    Chromium Oxide in .5micron

    Respectfully,
    Dan

I was looking for a strop and thought I'd support a fellow BF member...and am glad I did. Just received my strop from Dan and am more than pleased. Dan is extremely responsive and produces a quality product. If you're new to working with strops, don't hesitate to ask Dan questions...he'll fix you up. Best of luck Dan and will come to you first for any future strop needs!

Ditto on above post! I too received an outstanding strop from Dan. He is a great guy and a pleasure to do business with. The strop I received will last a lifetime and really finishes off a nice edge. Thanks Dan!

Got a strop from Dan in Bocote after inquiring about having one made. He answered all of my questions and helped me through the decision making process to get the perfect strop for my needs. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs a strop to maintain their knives to contact Dan it is hard to find and individual who is committed to such a high level of customer service anymore. Thanks Dan!

I just wanted to add to what's been said. I received 2 strops from Dan and they are absolutely quality products. Dan is an excellent craftsman and makes excellent strops. Not to mention that his customer service is top notch! He patiently answered all my questions and was honest and upfront in all aspects. If you're looking for a strop, look no further!!

Email me and we can talk specifics. As of now it is not in stock due to upgrades in the tools.
