Looks like he sanded off the markings. do you know if its japan or Taiwan? I don't spend much time in the SOG subforum so please forgive me if this has been discussed recently.

As far as I know, the SOG SEAL Pup Elites have always been made in Taiwan.
That sheath doesn't look factory to me. Is it supposed to me?

Looks to me like the top portion of the kydex sheath has been hack-sawed off.

Couldn't it be that it was just un-screwed from the belt clip?
