Thanks for the pics.
Hi folks -
I was lucky enough to have visited Blade this year and one of the first things I did was hurry to the Kershaw booth and check out the new ZT's.
The ZT 0777 was there and it was numbered 001. The 777 is the lightest knife I can remember - it is awesome!
I had my DLC Tilt and my -0551 with me - so I put them out for comparison pics -
There were three variations of the 888 - of these, only the "gunmetal grey" version will be produced - it is the knife on the far right in this picture
The 888 is beefy and large - it is over 7 ounces so it is not made to be subtle at all. It makes a statement.
It is a very nice gentleman's ZT -but it appears rugged and could do whatever you need done.
The pocket clip can be pushed to either side for carrying - but can only be used for tip up.
According to the brochure, the blade will be composite s110v edge with 14C28N spine.
Great knife that I will have to have.
The ZT 0600 is another great RJ Martin design and I love it! It reminds me of a Volt 3600, but it is larger, thicker and has a bit of a recurve to it.
It swings open with a lot of authority - the fit and finish on the prototype I examined was beautiful. The clip does not look to be for deep carry, but when in your pocket the knife rides deeply and the clip works wonderfully - one of the best I have seen. The clip is also very nice looking.
The 3d texturing is really nice - it feels great - not bumpy. The knife has the very nice RJ Martin ergos that I love - it feels great in your hand and I know this knife will be a great user although I bet a lot of them get squirreled away.
It is a little lighter than the 888 but is still a big knife
Thanks to all the great folks at Kershaw/ZT - it was great to be able to check out the knives and talk to the folks behind the great new knives.

Thanks for the pics.
That RJ Martin blade looks so long that it doesn't fit in the handle
Thanks for the pics and info! Can't wait to get them in hand when they come out! Lead me to your pre-order lists!
Thank you so much for the pics and the info! I've been all over the web to try and find this kind of "insider" info from BLADE. Excellent reading for those of us who can't attend. Keep em coming. (BTW. do you have any info on the third blade in carbonfiber? The one next to the 0400 in Thomas W's pic in the Day 3 thread?)
Great pic's. Thanks.
Like the new designs, but bigger isn't always better. Looking for some more 3.5" and under blades!
the rj martin looks like a copy of the q36 overkill but with a longer blade. not sure i like the texturing.
They look awesome! Can't wait until the 0888's hit the market! Didn't realize they would be a composite blade.....That means they will be a little more expensive then I originally thought they would be. Still extremely excited though.
I may have missed it, but what steel does the 0600 use?
It feels great in hand though.
I too got to handle them all today. This was my first time with the 777 and I'm a huge fan. I need to have one. It may take a while but I'll get one eventually.
And I was told to expect the 600 and the 888 this time next year so I'm saving for those as well.
If I had to choose between the 0777 and the 0888, I'd have to go with the latter. Of course, with only 250 being made I won't have to worry and I'll make do with an 0777.

Thanks for the pics. Speaking of 3.5 inch folders, I was wondering if Thomas W could hopefully tell us if the ZT 0780 is still in the works?
Thanks for sharing the pics and information about the ZT's. Can't wait to get a 0777!
