    Both of those are good knives. Pro Tech also has a fine line up of OTS autos. I am fond of the TR-4 and I currently have a Doru otw from a trade deal. There is also Microtech, but the price jumps considerably there.

    I had the same question about two(2) years ago. Bill DeShivs, a knowledgeable member here, suggested a Leverletto as a good first purchase. Bought it, still have it and recommend.

    Since I have purchased the following;

    Spyderco Citadel [92mm]
    Kershaw 7000 Breakout
    ProTech TR3
    ProTech Runt
    Benchmade 9051 AFO II
    MicroTech LUDT
    ProTech Dark Angel

    All good.

    Suggest you put your wallet in your pocket and back s l o w l y away from the keyboard.

    Live in FL whose CWL covers carry of auto knives in addition to firearms. Got to love FREE States.

    The Spyderco Citadel and Embassy are very good autos, great value for the price IMHO.
    The Citadel has been discontinued. Satin blades are extremely hard to find, and black ones are getting scarce.
    I was told at Blade there would be a revised Citadel late this year or in 2013.

    Protech makes excellent knives, and some are quite reasonable in price and go up depending on design and materials. They also do a lot of really gorgeous collector pieces.

    Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig.

    I've been thinking about getting a Breakout as well. Maybe a black bladed Rogue. I have a few you can check out. Let me know when you'll be at Bob's store again and we'll meet up. Later!

    Good choice, I love my Breakout too. Just be careful if you plan to use it, the blade is scary thin near the tip and probably wouldn't be very forgiving.
