Proxied Blades - Support Thread

This thread is a support thread for all of those Hogs, Rats, and Dogs lucky enough to have a helpful Proxy land them some steel at Blade 2012.

Post up your scores, and status. Pics when you get them in hand (to support those still in wait mode).


A helpful dog landed me some ELMAX from the Yard. I can't wait for this blade...curious if it will put my Gene Ingram's at risk for processing game. I suspect they will challenge each other well, and I look forward to doing some comparison work this fall (or sooner) between the Scrap Max, Basic 04, and my Gene Ingram's.

I can't wait to get that call from the shop....to confirm the order and process payment. I didn't get to speak with the lovely ladies at Blade 2012, but I will get to talk with them over the phone...and that beats not speaking to them at all!!!

I have to agree the proxies are a selfless bunch of awesome people.

Congratulations on the Scrap Max. Too bad you couldn't get yours with a Green handle, it would be perfect for you.

I haven't yet heard from my proxy due to technical difficulties.

Mine took care of me. He got me on the list for a Rattle Hawk. The NMSHBMLB wasn't available for preorder. I'm very appreciative!

My young friend helped me order: RattleHawk, Skinny RMD ... and a pair of daggers (for the wife--HomeSeller).

I've been to Blade many times and I know it was no easy chore, making this happen!

So thanks again to my proxying friend and all others who chose to proxy.

I had a proxie set me up for a rattle hawk preorder! very excited about this score...thanks again man! I would really like the Hawkeye dagger but it was just too expensive. man though that thing was sweet....

Props to all proxers (proxo's? Proximators? Whatever.) It's a thankless job. IIRC, I always sent a bit of som'in som'in extra for the proxy folk when I got my blades.
