Very nice! I like that shield!
I never found one of those beauties in my Krack-A-Jacks. Very cool Ole Jack!!!
It looks the same to me too.
I took this direct sunlight cell pic earlier but forgot to post is. Maybe it helps to compare for you Mike.
Here is one in the shade similar to your photos?
And here is me happy as a little kid that I got the springs so flush with perfect blade action
This knife is really grabbing a hold of me and I can't believe how much I missed a nice smaller pen blade all the years I carried a single blade.
This really is a one of a kind GEC.

Rut Roh, Shaggy. I spy a band-aid on that pinkie. I trust it isn't from your new knife.
Dangnet this thread made me buy copperhead jig bone one. I admit rootbeer was great too but was soldout from shop I do business... I wonder if they do 3½ or 3 7/8 barlow next?
OH yeah, that's sweet! I can't wait to get my Ole Jack, I have a feeling it's gonna get a lot of pocket time and my Schatt is going to be bummed![]()
Frank, unfortunately it was from my new knife. Still with the factory edge I lost respect for the edge and I got a little careless. They weren't sharp enough to run across my finger and cut me but they sure were sharp enough when the clip blade wedged my finger into the pen blade. OUCH. Lesson learned. No being careless.
