You must be searching under key words "Buck knives" and I get only about 7,000 candidates. Better than most TV for entertainment IMHO.

I think you made a good gamble that will pay off, especially with your rehab skills.

I'd sure do it at that price.

They both look real enough to go for it and the auction has the look of a new guy just getting rid of stuff.

What I will do with the 112 will be worth at least the 30

Judging by how I intuit the buyer......that Strider could be one of those last few ATS-34 Taranis that Wal-Mart had on closeout for less than $50.

That would be a REAL find!

    Good luck!

Age has its good and bad points.

Well, I may have to backpedal on my my ATS-34 statement. It looks like the ATS-34 PE did have the "emery board" traction pad on it. And the auction knife definitely does not.

I'm thinkin' the auction knife above may be a plain black bladed 420HC bladed version. I can't tell from the pic if it is coated (black coating would be a dead giveaway as 420HC) or just reflection. It is a "TACCOM" nylon handle, not G-10. Still a good snag.

I sure hope the knives are real. If so it looks like you got a heck of a deal. I'm definitely jealous.

Thanx, even if it's 420HC, it will be a good one to test the waters with...
I see no reason to believe that they are not real, I've been pretty lucky with listings of this type before...

Oh, I'm sure they are both Buck, I was just questioning exactly which one. My vote is a Black 889 and regular 112. 112 looks just a bit short though, it may have been tipped and resharpened.

I have a tan 889 I smoothed the scales on and recently had a very generous offer on and turned down, mainly because I like it so well. Nothing wrong with it at all.

The seller's pic isn't clear but looks like black on black. There was a plain edge version but different than my pic. Email inbound.
