Great idea! I use all of mine aswell. Pics incoming this evening maybe![]()
Here's what I'm after: I *LOVE* seeing pictures of you guys using your knives to cut stuff! The problem is, when your down and dirty working with your knife, you don't want to handle your SLR camera to document the job. This has created a delima, user pics are greatly lacking.
SO, here's a thread for people who can take a crapy cell phone shot, and post it. If we can see what's happening, that's all that matters. Nobody cares what your cutting (except the cheese) just take a quick picture and post it!
Today, used my Umnumzaan to cut open Ketchup packets for my kids' corndogs. I know it's silly to post a picture of this, but this is what I'm looking for! Help a BROTHA out here! I know SOME OF YOU don't just stare at and fondle your knives.

If BBQing don't make you feel like a man, nothing will.
EDIT: Just so you all know, this recepie calls for meat a little undercooked, because it gets cooked again in the oven (BBQ nachoes).

I know nuh-thing.
OK - so guys that are using their CRK's to cut meat, etc for food prep, do ya'll just wash it in the sink w/ regular dish soap after you're done?

We typically use bacterial dish soap so all my folders that get used for food prep get washed with that. I don't really worry about getting soap and water into the pivot of my Sebenzas simply because if they get slow/rough I just break them down.
Good to know - thanks guys.
HEY! Just checked this post, sorry men. But yeah, I just wash it out with hot water and antibacterial hand soap. That's what I LOVE about the Sebenza, the simplicity of the design never makes me worry about hidden bacteria.
NOW... if igo camping and cut raw meat, or clean a bunch of fish, I'll dismantle it and clean it good.
Love the hot tamales pic too!

Good Stuff. I just wash mine in the sink with hand soap if at work or dish soap or whatever.
Side note- I washed a Benchmade 745 after getting food on it and didn't think anything of it. Later when doing a detailed clean on it I found water had lingered under the steel liner on one side and was starting to corrode or rust. It was surprising to see the water had stayed under the liner after rinsing it in hot water.
That’s what brought me back to the Titanium Frame Locks and I’m here to stay.
LOOKING GOOD gentlemen! Thanks for all the input!
