Congrats on the Award, Dave !
    ..and the score, Roger !
Beautiful piece, amazingly cool damascus, great carving and I dig the butt cap treatment too.
The Coop image shows it off nicely.

Don't know what to say that hasn't already been said Dave. A truly awesome all around knife you've created here.

You're a real inspiration to me. I love your work.

Great job on this and congrats on the well deserved award.

I too was lucky enough to hold and admire this knife.

The fighting dragon knives were top shelf but this knife is a whole shelf above that!

Like many others commented, the Damascus is stunning... But the carved ivory handle... Just wow!!!

    Congrats

Thanks for the story to go with the knife, Dave. The sheath is now done and it will head (back) to Coop with another piece from the show.

I will try to get a video shot of the knife to capture the Sunray effect - it really is something. One of my favorite features (of the many) is that swedge that runs the length of the spine, then curves under the carved integral bolster in an uninterrupted line all the way to the choil. Awesome stuff!

Once again thank you all very much. Roger I am looking forward to seeing what Paul comes up with for the sheath and if a video can show the shimmer on the sun rays that would be very cool.

I got to hold this knife while it was in the sculpting stage and then saw pictures that were taken. Holding it in your hand is the only way to really get the feel of this piece but then again Dave is the MAN Tne sun is shining on him
    Great Piece Dave

Beautiful knife Dave! Probably my favorite of your pieces, but I'm a sucker for the textured copper accents. Very nicely done!
