    Stock Rack

Got tired of things being leaned against a wall and fast becoming a #@$%-pile, so I made a stock rack. It was 80% done being in that I scavenged the frame from an old shop I used to work at, then just welded studs onto it. Used 1/2 round for the upper ones and some 5/8" for the lowers, much more organized now. I have carried that big steel rack for 3 years now, FINALLY *angry yet accomplished fist shake* it is used for something

remember, welders can be used for more then tacking billets and welding handles on things

    Nice project.
I keep everydamn bit of steel I can walk away with too and storing it's a problem.

Is it tied to the wall?

What keeps it from falling over?

and how are you storing the short bits that fit between your pins ?
maybe some vertical holders in the future?

    Magic!!!!!!

It's got little feet welded on on all 4 corners like legs, plus everything being in tight keeps it balanced, I will make a brace though that ties it to the wall though it's really not tippy.

That's nice, Sam. I too have the "steel piled up in the corners and under the bench" disease in my shop.

No, I cannot! What makes you think it was a knock? I could have said, "Sweet rack. Brick walls".
