you could just ditch the other knife and get a bk2 and bk9. you wouldnt even need to buy an axe later if you dont want to. so far, i only have a bk2 but there isnt much i cant do. i love that knife. bk9 is what i plan on getting next.
Well, I decided to go with the 7. Not quite ready for a 9 just yet, but I know that day will come soon enough. Likely my next purchase. For pics of my 7, go here:

well I own a BK-2 and it's great! because it's a 1/4 of an inch thick it can chop! the BK-2 do any heavy task and I wold recommend over the BK-7, that's my take.
