Looking for my first single blade 25 in sheepsfoot or wharincliff my question is I see a lot of them in EO version with the two blade types I mentioned do I really need the EO or is there enough blade showing when closed to easily pinch it open . Thanks

I can pinch open a sheepsfoot blade on a 25 with or without the EO, but the EO gives better purchase.

I've been pulled away on other interests, but I did latch on to another Bulldog, my second two-blade. Really nice Smooth Amber Bone on this one.

Aside from the acorns and bullets, probably the more difficult of 25 patterns to obtain. They just don't often become available. And folks are becoming aware that they can command the same prices as the other 25's, if not more because of the low production.

I always really like the match-strike pulls. And I'm reasonably sure that ALL the Bulldogs were bareheads. I don't think I've ever seen a capped one.

Apologies for the flash in this last one, the light is on the opposite side of the room from the case and the non-flash pic just didn't come out well.

I'm very jealous of the acorns and bullets (particularly the bullets, as I do not have one, yet...)

I am however, thankful for this little niche of WLST aficionados...

^^^ AKC, nice Bulldog. I love the match strike pulls and smooth amber bone.

This one is new to me. Thanks AusLoX.

    That's terrific good news!

It's a great "less is more" knife, with no factory blade etch, all steel (no brass liners), etc.-- and the pen behind the main, just where I like it!

    A favorite favorite. Congrats!

Great that it's on its way to you Alan! I like the summary pertinux ran through on it. Sounds like a neat piece!

I may have posted these photos here before, but here's my little collection of #25's spearpoints.

I only have one sheepsfoot, the serial-number-sibling of my stag spearpoint.

(Photo was obviously taken before the spearpoint had been carried as much as it has in the first photo. The sheepsfoot hasn't seen much pocket time and still looks the same.)
