BladeHQ expected its to be release in June, so could we possibly get it about this July or August?

id really like to know if this knife is real and will be released, or have they just dropped it from the lineup

They have a large amount of "custom" or limited run higher end knives projected come out this year. These take time and there are delays. Don't hold your breath. Just watch for the pre order to come up.

I'm betting it won't be ready until December or so.

Keep in mind that it's typically better to get into a new offering in the second or third run . . .

I had been hoping to see one by birthday that just passed.

I'm still confident that ZT will deliver soon.

I have no doubt that ZT is doing the very best they can to get knives out as quick as possible yet I too would LOVE to have a ballpark time frame on the release of the 0777. If it's going to be more than a month or two I'd love to know so I can use that saved cash for something else at this time and save up once again for the 0777...money is tight and knowing when to expect a release (just a ballpark time frame) would be extremely helpful.

There may not be a 2nd or 3rd run for the 0777.

Having read statements from KAI personnel stating to effect, it is threads and posts like these that have limited us Kershaw enthusiasts, notification of up coming releases. People go crazy inundating with when when when and how unhappy they are with no product produced in what they think as a timely manner. Ballpark time frames can be 6mo, 8mo or year off so what good would it do to post one.

If the 0777 isn't produced I will certainly be disappointing but there is no doubt in my mind that every effort was exhausted to bring such a brilliant design to market, they have spent way too much resources in time and money.

However I do believe this knife is in our future...my fear is that I won't be at the computer when the mad rush is on. And that is okay I have some great knives and life is good.

I have the same concern (not being at the PC when the email comes in) and I have considered just using the money to buy the 0561 (I have the 0560) and a 0550 (I have the 0551) so that I can have both of the 0560/61's and a 0550 that I would actually use...I've never used my 0551. It would be nice to have both 560/61's (incredible knives) and a user 0550.

I'm sure I'll wait a while longer (I imagine that the 0777 will be very special) but I'm getting nervous that the 0561's on the market now will sell soon without me having grabbed one.

    Best of luck getting yours!

    P.S
I have NEVER said anything negative about KAI/ZT/Kershaw even regarding giving out time frames...I'd love a ballpark time frame but I understand if they decide not to give one.

And good luck getting yours my friend!

I wouldn't be too concerned about a 0561 in your future. Start setting aside funds now and if it takes a year I believe an unused one could be bought on the secondary market for much less than retail.

I'm guessing autocorrect error, but that's one of the better ones I've seen.

I'm safely on a list but there are always production runs within special and/or limited releases. They are often released in waves until the final piece is assembled and shipped. And it's not uncommon for tweaks to take place in each wave of releases sometimes either. Key is to get on a a reliable list first and foremost, then hope for the middle to late part of that list just in case they do tweaks as it's being released That's all . . .

I found out about this knife way too late to be able to pre-order one. I was a little bummed about that. Then I handled one at Blade and I love this knife. Now I'm depressed that I won't be able to own one.

If you are willing to throw enough money at it, anything is possible.

Yeah but I'm not. I'm not wealthy at all.
